Minimum living maximum possibilities
How do we want to live in the future?
Our answer: minimum living maximum possibilities
As a proposal for micro-unit housing , this project exploits the possibility of sharing economy, and how it could be realised architecturally. It aims to redefine housing in our age, when demographic shift, technology, and new economy are transforming our city. The migration of young professionals bring challenges but also opportunities for housing. Our proposal responds to this challenge by exploiting the potential of module, material and sharing spaces.
The possession became less important that the quality of life . The dimensions of your house less important then your social life. The contribution to solve the environmental issues an important topic to be solved.
Our project tries to answer to these specific needs.
An easily assemblable house, which can be dismantled at any time or it can grow together with a community of people in order to become a stable environment.
A place in which the minimum living needs meets the maximum space for sharing ( encounters, meetings, communal gardens, production spaces ..)
The rent of the tenant decreases as the community increases. Permanent modules are designed to provide a house for people with stable jobs and relationships while at the same time to decrease their expenses temporary pods are designed for travellers, temporary workers ecc .. .
A more affordable housing because of the shared facilities and spaces, because the cost of the materials(prefabricated wooden modules, poly carbonate green house ) and because the possibility to decrease energetic costs with technology ( solar panel, natural ventilation, rain collactors )
Nonetheless more interactive and communal, which is crucial for the young people , whom require more and more communication and exchange for the happiness factor.
